One Mission, Many Warriors

This one is a little different but it’s about two very strong and determined brothers, Brayden and Brysen Croxdale from Moss Bluff, Ragley area. Brayden was 9 when his kidneys began to shut down his parents got him to Texas Children’s Hospital and for roughly a year Brayden was on juvenile dialysis which ultimately led his parents to have to move to Houston. After about a year his family received the news there was a donor and they were a complete match for Brayden. He had a kidney transplant and now after 10 years he’s still doing amazing. Brayden has since graduated high school from South Beauregard High School where he played baseball and had the great honor of his senior year he won the state championship. Unfortunalty Brayden didn’t get to play in the last few games, and he broke his leg one night during a game, but he couldn’t of been more thrilled to have been a part of such a wonderful team.

Brysen, a little older, at the age of 13 began showing signs that concerned the doctors and once again Shaun and Brandi found themselves back at Texas Children’s Hospital, where most of the same doctors and nurses were there to give the best care to Brysen. This time the news of a donor that matched Brysen came a lot quicker and Brysen received a kidney transplant within a few months of being in the hospital.
